How Can I Help?

There is nothing wrong with simply participating in events, but if you would like to get more involved by helping to organize the events or supporting the club there are two ways you can help.

Volunteer

The events take a lot of work to set up, run, and tear down. Listed below are specific ways that you can help with a meet. Contact us by the email link in the main page and let us know what event you would like to help with and what you would like to do.

• Course set up - Mapping the course, placing the controls. This is usually done during the week(s) prior to the event

• Vet the course - Can't make the event but want to run the course? Run the course the day before the event and make sure that all controls are located well and working.

• Event help - Help with registrations and new participant orientations (show how to set up their maps, compass basics, etc)

• Tear down - We like to get the controls back when the event is done

If you would like to donate to the club to make it possible for us to create even more and better events in the future you can do so below. We are a not for-profit organization and all contributions are very welcome!
